Horn of Africa Services (HOAS) is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization founded in Seattle, Washington in 1992. Since its foundation the organization is actively and dedicatedly serving the community. HOAS impacted countless life through out the decades of its operation.

To provide services in cultural lens the organization diversified its teams. The diversified team increase innovation in the field of its services, gave cultural competence to serve community members from different cultural background and limited to no dominant language ability. The organization built friendly yet professional relationship with community it serve.

Our Vission
To see East African immigrants and refugees in the Seattle and King county area becoming socially integrated, politically engaged and economically self-sufficient residents contributing to the wellbeing of the general population.
Our Mission
To offer multi-lingual and multicultural services that can help its target low income East African immigrants and refugees attain immediate and long-term adjustment through Social work, Community capacity building education and advocacy.
